From enterprise IT strategy to applied AI, I build the technology backbone that keeps a global logistics group fast, resilient and competitive.

Artificial Intelligence

AI is the part of my work I care about most, and where I deliver the strongest results. I bring machine learning, generative AI and intelligent automation into everyday logistics: automated customs validation, predictive planning, document recognition and AI assistants that take routine work off people's desks. I stay hands-on and practical, and I build AI that solves a real problem and proves itself in daily operations.

Who I Am

Strategic leader, hands-on technologist

I'm Nico K. Pereira da Silva, Group CIO at MBS Logistics, leading global IT strategy, innovation and digital transformation across more than 30 international locations.

With over a decade of C-level experience and a background as a certified Computer Science Expert, I combine real technical depth with strategic leadership. My work focuses on scalable IT architectures, AI-driven logistics solutions and secure infrastructure that supports business growth and operational resilience.

I enjoy building platforms that bring strong technology and real-world efficiency together, and I lead with clarity, trust and a long-term view in complex environments.

Beyond my professional life, I'm a family man, wine enthusiast, advocate for fitness and mental performance, and actively engaged in volunteer work. I speak German, English, French and Portuguese, and I'm at home in international, multicultural settings.
